Day by Day Itinerary
After breakfast at your Arusha hotel, meet your safari guide for a briefing before departing to Tarangire National Park. The drive takes approximately 2 hours through rural Tanzania with views of local villages and farmland. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant population and iconic baobab trees. During the dry season (June-October), the park hosts one of the highest concentrations of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem. Game drive through diverse habitats looking for lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and numerous antelope species. The Tarangire River attracts huge numbers of animals. Picnic lunch at a scenic spot with views over the park. Continue game viewing in the afternoon before heading to your lodge.
